Use Our Servers

Sometimes, efficient programming simply isn't enough to get the job done quickly. In these instances, the only way we can speed up an application is to give it more resources. Yet, as with so many things in life, more resources = more money...and more stress for your IT department. Wouldn't it be nice if you could simply send your job off to someone else, who would do all these things for you on an 'as and when you need it' basis? You can...

If you have a MATLAB application that has been written so as to make use of parallel facilities, you can lease time on our servers. If you have a MATLAB application that would benefit from using parallel facilities but don't have the resources or tool boxes necessary, we can help make your application faster and run the result on our machines.

We are constantly updating our hardware to offer you access to the newest technologies. We stick as much memory in our machines as makes sense, use high speed hard drives in RAID 0 configerations and even overclock the processors if it makes sense. The result? Very fast machines just waiting to get stuck in to your project.

We currently have the following machines online:

How it works

  1. Before we can start letting you lose on our machines, you'll need to apply for an account so we know who you are. We'll review your details and create a user account for you, usually within 24 hours
  2. Check your code and data sets against our guidelines to make sure your application is going to run
  3. Upload your code and any data sets to your account directory via FTP or the web interface
  4. Submit your job to the queue
  5. That's it

When your application is complete, you will receive an email invoice. This will provide you with a price for the job, payable via Paypal. Once paid, you'll get a second email with a link to download your results.
