I am by no means a web designer or programmer, but I do put together the odd website for friends and experiment with various methods of online presentation as part of my research. I tend to find PHP to be the most versatile language for this.

Here, I have added a number of PHP code snips and functions that have proved particularly useful or interesting. Most of it is useful from a core website development perspective. However, there is the odd block of code that can be pasted into Drupal to add additional functionality. Please feel free to comment on anything you see here.
